"Tessere" is a striking photographic series that explores the theme of duality through the complex interactions of two subjects. Set in a 1980s villa, the series leverages the distinctive elements of an era characterized by unique architectural and decorative details, offering a perfect framework for the visual exploration of human connections.

The 1980s villa, with its richly detailed interiors, plays a silent yet powerful role in the photographic narrative. The period furnishings, the interplay of natural light filtering through the large windows, and the shadows lingering on the decorated walls create an atmosphere charged with nostalgia and mystery. This setting is not merely a backdrop, but an active element that amplifies the contrast between moments of closeness and distance between the protagonists.

Dualism is the beating heart of "Tessere". The photographs capture fleeting moments of profound connection and tangible distance between the two subjects. Tension and intimacy are highlighted through a skillful use of light and shadow: a play of chiaroscuro that reveals and conceals, suggesting the complexity of human relationships. Moments of soul-searching, pauses for reflection, and moments of detachment invite the viewer to question their own experiences and perceptions.
